lately, we've been filling our days with new food, new places, and new memories. it wasn't until my dad and sister were gone that i realized that it is really just us. i've stooped to a new low, and told luke the other day that i wanted to be friends with our waitress. yes, i am that desperate. so i figured that this post would be appropriate to help me appreciate the wonderful new things we're experiencing, rather than moping about my lack of friends. nobody likes a moper.
so, here's a list of things that make me terribly happy in our new little town:

// an apartment with a stunning view that really does feel like home.
// yuengling beer. something minnesotans are definitely missing out on.
// my list of exciting things to do in the area.
// pittsburgh pirates tickets for next thursday. go bucs!
// a loving husband with a very comfortable shoulder to cry on (or lean on).
// minnesota paraphernalia to remind us of home.
