luke and i decided to make tonight date night. we went to see the dark night rises, which we both loved, and then decided to choose one of the many restaurants here in morgantown that are on our list of places to go to (there are SO many). we ended up going with the mountain state brewing company because everything in life is better when you've got a good brew in your hand. we were very pleased with our entire experience at MSBC, and will most definitely be going back.
we chose to sit outside in the back. it was very cool, being that the restaurant run right alongside the mon river trail, and the mon river itself. it didn't hurt that the temperatures were lower either!
i went with the cold trail ale, and luke got the "almost heaven" amber ale. both were very refreshing.
for dinner we shared one of their flatbread pizzas (it seemed like this was their specialty). we decided on the cuban which had green peppers, pulled pork, bbq sauce, and onions. it was SO tasty, and because we got a large, we had leftovers to bring home. yummmm!
beer + pizza = easiest way to keep your wife happy ;)
