last night, luke and i had a little date night. for the first time since we moved to west virginia, the vikings were actually being televised here, so we decided to celebrate with homemade chili, and some pumpkin carving.
in high school, luke did a lot with art. he's a great drawer, painter, sculptor...you name it, he's good at it. that's why it is never a surprise to me when his artistic side (which is usually hibernating) makes an appearance. he instantly comes up with genius ideas, and thus, the pirate pumpkin was born. not to mention he's just about the finest pumpkin seed roaster around. he is just the most!
man, i'm a lucky girl.
xo, eden
