as i said before, our ceremony was held in the yard of luke's childhood home. it was perfect, and i wouldn't have changed a thing about it.
our flowers were done by luke's mom's friend laurie. she's a wedding coordinator/florist, and did beyond anything i could have thought up on my own. i think all i told her was that i wanted tons of baby's breath and lots of yellow. she worked magic with the flowers, and the arrangements and bouquets were perfect.
this next picture shows my favorite detail of the day. my grandpa passed away last fall, and it was such a tragic feeling for me, knowing that he wasn't going to be at my wedding. i wanted to find a way to have him with me all day...a way to know he was watching. all my grandpa ever wore was plaid, button-up shirts. flannel in the winter, cotton in the summer. so we took a shirt from my grandpa's house and used a strip to wrap around my bouquet and my sisters, so he could be there with both of us. it was perfect.
xo, eden
