luke and i have been continually on the go since our wedding! it's like having a month long honeymoon! after we got back from mexico, we spent a few days with his parents in minnesota, and then took a road trip to colorado to spend some time with my parents. it's been unbearably warm here so we've been taking every opportunity that we have to get out of the heat. we spent the other day on a picnic up in eldorado springs (one of my favorite places). they have little campsites with picnic tables right alongside the creek that flows through the canyon. due to the numerous forest fires happening in colorado, the state has issued a statewide fire ban, so we packed sandwiches and snacks instead of grilling. it was a lovely little day.
