...and really i don't blame her.
the funny thing about it is that she probably started thinking
or reminiscing about a similar situation she had at one point.
the situation took place in the bedding aisle at target,
registry scanner in hand.
i showed you the duvet cover that i loved again.
you made fun of the word duvet again.
you really don't like that duvet.
i love that duvet. (and the word duvet)
but mostly i love you, because after showing you
several duvets to no avail you told me to go back and scan the one that i love.
the one i showed you over and over.
the one you hate.
i asked you why you would tell me to scan it if you don't like it.
this is when the lady laughed at us.
we smiled at her and laughed along after noticing our ridiculous conversation.
she told me it would always be that way.
i realized today that marriage isn't going to be easy.
at all.
i realized that we will most definitely disagree about things down the road,
but i also realized that as long as we compromise, love & respect each other
we'll be fine.
and it'll be great.
