it's the worst when you run out of dishwasher detergent.

so don't do it. seriously, it is the worst thing ever. and you would think that as two people that have both lived in homes sans dishwashers that we would be able to handle the situation, but we can't. our counters are piled with dishes/pots/pans. and on top of that, the dishwasher is already full. it's time to run errands. and it would be appreciated if you kept the judgments to a minimum.

on a different topic, luke and i are so antsy for our road trip to west virginia. as i said before (at least i think i did), luke has an interview at WVU for grad school, and he is really excited. i'm so happy that we'll have a chance to explore a city that could be our home within the next 6-7 months. it is literally driving me crazy not knowing where we'll be! at the end of the day, i know that wherever we end up our life will be wonderful.

i don't have much else to share because frankly...i can't stop thinking about the dishes. i have to go to the store now.
