i had such a great weekend. it was definitely a busy one, but it was so nice to spend some time with people i love. on friday, my sister flew into minneapolis, and on saturday we went with my future mother-in-law and sister-in-laws to see american idiot. now, before i go into how amazing it was, let me tell you that i have been waiting to see this show for two freakin' years. two very slow freakin' years. we were so excited when the day finally came for us to see it! green day holds a very special place in my heart. 15-year-old eden and myself have almost nothing in common, with the exception of our love for green day. i basically turn into that 15-year-old version of myself when green day is involved. it's embarrassing really, but i've learned to embrace it. the songs were amazing, the choreography was incredible, and the storyline turned out perfectly. you did it again, billie joe.
do any of you still love some of the bands/artists you listened to at a younger age?
