my sister and mom threw me a 50s housewife themed bridal shower on sunday, and i couldn't have asked for a better one! the details were adorable, the food delicious, and the lovely ladies that attended were more than generous. it was so great to see family that i rarely get to see and to spend time with them all. my favorite detail by far was that everyone was asked to dress in their best 50s attire. my sister and bridesmaids assisted me in choosing my attire for the day on sunday morning before the shower. everyone looked adorable! i never could have thought up such an adorable theme. definitely defines my love for all things 50s, and my dreams of being a stay-at-home wife/mother one day.
