luke and i have been emailing back and forth with our wedding officiant, and he's been filling us in on what will go on during our premarital counseling sessions (which i was initially really nervous for - but am now looking forward to). he told us to get a copy of love and respect by dr. emerson eggerichs. i thought, "great. a cheesy book about marriage." yes, i apparently think i know everything. i was just not looking forward to reading this. i started reading the first couple pages, and was actually blown away by how much it made sense. i couldn't put it down, and basically read for the rest of the afternoon while luke was on campus. it's a great read that is completely focused on faith and relationships. i am so looking forward to having luke read it too, and to be able to use the information to better understand each other. it's gonna be legen...wait for it...dary. (sorry, i've been watching a lot of HIMYM lately)
...and it's so not cheesy. :)
