one of my favorite things so far about west virginia is how long fall seems to last.
the leaves took weeks to completely change colors, and after a month of magnificant fall beauty, nearly half of them are now bare.
there is something magical about the vibrancy of the colors in nature here.
this week, the weather has warmed up drastically (we're nearly in the 80s!), and i can hardly believe that we're a mere week away from november!
somehow, even with the warmer weather, i'm still in a soup mood.
we're having our favorite for dinner, but for now, i'm off to take an afternoon cat nap with the husband.
