one more week.

west virginia
that's all that's left of our time in minnesota.

i've been feeling very overwhelmed with it all. the friends and family that are here make it really hard to want to leave. we're jam-packing our days with activities, and trying to spend as much time with everyone as we can. i guess regardless of how we're feeling at different moments in time, we're still moving to west virginia. to me, it feels like a scary, long-term vacation. it doesn't feel real yet, and i don't think it will until my dad and sister are dropped off at the pittsburgh airport to fly home after helping us move. (by the way, thank you for that. we're lucky to have you to help us.)

in the meantime, i've been trying to focus on all of the positive things about our move. there really are a lot of them. it's our first real newlywed adventure, and i can't wait to learn more about our relationship apart from our friends and family. we picked up a couple of those cheesy travel books, and are really going to treat our move as a chance to be travelers in our own state. we are so excited to learn about morgantown as a city, and then to branch out and learn more about the beautiful mountain state.

there are several things to be excited about, but that doesn't mean that goodbyes are going to be any easier. i'm actually kind of happy that it's just my dad and sister helping me since we've lived in different states (them in colorado, me in minnesota) from each other for 5 years now. we're good at goodbyes. :)

posting will probably be limited until we're in morgantown, west virginia due to the fact that we're spending as much time doing "minnesota things" with "minnesota people" as possible.

wish us luck!
