while on our honeymoon, luke and i spent a day at xcaret, which is basically a park that is dedicated to sharing the human and ecological culture of mexico. my favorite thing by far was swimming in the underground river systems of the park. it was so hot that luke and i did it twice. we ate a delicious buffet lunch filled with traditional mexican cuisine, and drank a lot of water. we both enjoyed ourselves, but also agreed that it seemed a bit overpriced and we probably wouldn't do it again. we were thrilled when we got onto the air-conditioned bus that took us back to our air-conditioned resort room. we know. we're wimps. and yes, i get quite whiny when i'm hot.
