today, my best friend's grandpa passed away. i didn't know him, but it still makes me so sad because grandpas are so special. they love you like nobody else can. they tell the best stories, give the best kisses, sneak you candy on the down low, and give you memories that you will never forget. it makes me miss both of my grandpas so much. i was blessed with two of the greatest grandfathers on the earth. they were both sweet and strong and wonderful. i miss them both on a daily basis. they taught me so much about life.
here's my challenge to you, if you are still lucky enough to have grandparents, call them. tell them you love them. write them a letter. tell them all the things that they taught you, and how thankful you are to know them. they will appreciate it more than you know.
i miss you grandpa bob and grandpa jim. i know you're watching over me.
