Current Obsession: Dia de los Muertos

While I was in Mexico we walked past many street vendors and went into many shops. I completely fell in love with all things Dia de los Muertos or Day of the Dead. Yes, I know it isn't until November. I just love the idea of celebrating the lives of those that you have lost. They had ceramic painted skulls, prints, and so much more. I brought home one of the ceramic sugar skulls and a beautiful print. I'll take pictures tomorrow and post them. One thing I really loved about my trip was that we got to experience some of the Mexican culture. I think a lot of people go to Mexico and never leave their resort. I just don't get how anyone could want to. Mexico is so rich with history and culture, and all of the locals were so amazingly kinds. Here are a few Dia de los Muertos things I am loving:
