After finishing getting ready and doing a bit of relaxing, I left for work (11-7). It was a decent day. I had Extreme Pita for lunch and got my favorite Buffalo Chicken pita. Mmm! So delicious.
There was a bit of excitement at work today because I caught someone shoplifting in the fitting rooms. Long story, short, we catch people on a daily basis because we have an excellent loss prevention team, and though I have prevented people from shoplifting, I have never actually caught someone. The girl deserved every bit of punishment she got because she was quite the little brat. Anywho, the story ends with me getting a spot-award (an award managers give out) for $25...not bad, not bad at all. :) It was quite thrilling. A little bit of my very own schadenfreude, German for "happiness at the misfortune of others."
After work, Megan met me at the mall and we did a little shopping. I'm not a huge fan of Hollister usually, but we stopped in because they were having a sale, and I found a couple cute summer tops/tops for Mexico! When we got home I was happy to find that ANOTHER package had arrived from my parents. :) Inside I found TONS of goodies. I don't want to brag or anything, but I am pretty sure that my mom makes THE best cookies in the world. It's pretty much been predetermined by those who send me packages, (due to large sums of cookies, candy, sweethearts, kisses, truffles, and fortune cookies), that I'm not going to get that bangin' body I was hoping to have for Mexico. Oh, well. :)
Oh, and I also thought I would post a picture of my homemade Valentine's Day Cards! They were so easy and so fun to make! If you want to know details let me know!
